It is situated on state highway 289, twenty miles north of Frisco, and adjacent to Prosper and is located on the Dallas North Tollway Extension currently in planning stages and will be constructed over the next few years (2020-2025). Currently, the Dallas Tollway ends at the start of Prosper. Dallas is a 45-minute drive straight down the tollway (no traffic), whereas Danton happens to be a 35-minute drive along highway 380.
